Frequently asked questions

Which tasks are suitable for automation?

Rule-based, repetitive tasks that run on digital data are the best candidates. Typical examples include preparing and sending reports, expiry date or stock alerts, data transfer between systems and approval flows. In a discovery meeting I review your processes with you and clarify which steps can be automated and which ones still need a human decision.

Do I need to replace my existing software?

Usually not. I build automation around your existing systems and connect through APIs, web services, database access or file transfer. Your ERP, accounting software or in-house applications stay in place. For legacy systems with no way to connect, I evaluate alternative methods and the option of modernization with you during discovery.

Which channels can notifications be sent through?

Email, SMS and WhatsApp are the channels I use most often. I combine these channels in a single background service and send messages in order through an outbox queue so nothing is lost. In-app notifications and web push are also options. I decide which alert goes to whom, and through which channel, based on your needs.

How much does an automation project cost?

Cost depends on the number of processes to automate, the systems to connect and any special rules, so I do not quote a fixed price. In a free initial meeting I listen to your needs, clarify the scope and prepare a tailored proposal. It is also possible to start with one small process with a clear impact and expand the scope step by step.
