QR Code Generator

To create a QR code, choose a type (URL, text, Wi-Fi, business card, WhatsApp or email) and enter the details; the code is generated instantly and can be downloaded as PNG or SVG. The tool runs entirely in your browser, needs no sign-up, and the codes are static: the content is encoded directly into the code and does not depend on a redirect server. Use it on menus, flyers, business cards, shop windows or table cards.

Frequently asked questions

Do the QR codes I create expire?

No. Codes created with this tool are static; the content (link, Wi-Fi details, business card) is encoded directly into the code and does not depend on a server. The code keeps working as long as the page you link to stays online.

Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?

No. The code is generated in your browser; the network name and password are not sent to any server. Anyone who scans the code can see the password, so only use it for a network you want to share with guests.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is fine for screens, social media and standard prints. For large prints such as posters, banners or professional printing, choose SVG, which scales without losing quality.

What does the error correction level do?

It keeps the code readable if part of it gets dirty or covered by a logo. L is the lowest and H the highest level. Higher levels make the code denser; M suits general use, while Q or H are better if the print may wear.

Does changing the QR code colours affect scanning?

It can. The foreground should be dark, the background light, with high contrast between them. Some readers may not recognise inverted codes (light code on a dark background); test with different phones before printing.
