Mobile Applications

Take your place in your users' pockets. I develop performant, user-friendly and modern mobile applications for iOS and Android, releasing both platforms from a single codebase. I build .NET MAUI field applications covering goods receipt, barcode/QR scanning, OCR document reading, production control steps and label printing on Zebra printers. I design the mobile app together with a web admin panel and a REST API, and where it fits better I also recommend an installable web app (PWA) instead of a store-published native app. As a freelance software developer in İzmir, Türkiye, I work online with businesses in İzmir and the surrounding region, and you work directly with the developer.

Frequently asked questions

Are iOS and Android apps written separately?

Usually not. With cross-platform technologies such as .NET MAUI, React Native or Flutter I produce both iOS and Android apps from a single codebase. This reduces development and maintenance effort. In rare cases that need very deep platform-specific hardware access I add native code, and I choose the technology with you based on your needs.

Can the app work without internet?

Yes, I can add offline support where needed. Data is stored locally on the device and synchronized with the server when a connection is available. This is critical in places with weak connectivity such as warehouses, field sites or production floors. During discovery I clarify which operations can be done offline and how conflicts will be resolved.

Are barcodes, QR codes and label printers supported?

Yes. Field apps can include barcode and QR scanning, camera-based document reading (OCR) and label printing on Zebra printers. A phone camera, handheld terminal or external scanner can be used. During discovery I review your devices and decide with you which hardware the app will work best with.

Do you publish the app on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. I help with setting up store accounts, app listings, screenshots and the review process, and I publish together with you. I recommend publishing from your own developer account so that ownership of the app stays with you. For apps used only inside your organization, I can also evaluate enterprise distribution methods outside the stores.

Native mobile app or PWA?

If you need store visibility, deep access to device hardware or heavy background processing, a native mobile app is the right choice. For internal use, forms and approval flows, an installable web app (PWA) can be faster and more economical. I build applications with both approaches, and I give a clear recommendation based on your needs.
