UPS Monitoring Software

Monitor your uninterruptible power supplies 24/7. Track the status of your UPS devices with SNMP protocol, instantly catch fault and warning traps for quick intervention. I turn incoming traps into meaningful alarms, forward them to the right people via email, SMS or WhatsApp, and report past events and battery status on a single panel. I work with protocols such as SNMP, Modbus and TCP/socket, and build services collecting data from temperature-humidity devices as well as IT management screens bringing backup, virtualization and security logs together. As a freelance software developer in İzmir, Türkiye, I serve businesses in İzmir and the surrounding region online, coordinating installation and go-live remotely with you.

Frequently asked questions

What if my UPS has no SNMP support?

Most UPS units need a network card (SNMP card) for SNMP. If there is no card, I first look at the manufacturer's card option and then at alternative methods that read data over USB or a serial port. During discovery I review your UPS makes and models and share a clear list of how each device can be monitored.

Can I monitor UPS units from different brands on one screen?

Yes. Because SNMP is a standard protocol, devices from different brands can be monitored on the same panel. By mapping brand-specific values (MIBs), I show information such as battery level, load and input voltage in a common view. You see the state of every device at a glance, regardless of branch or location.

Who gets notified when an alarm occurs, and how?

Depending on the type and severity of the alarm, notifications can be sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp. I use rules to decide which event at which location goes to which person. I combine these channels in a single background service and deliver messages through a queue so nothing is lost. I update notification rules with you as your needs change.

Will it integrate with my existing monitoring system?

In most cases, yes. Alarm and status data can be forwarded to your existing monitoring panel or IT ticketing system via API, database or standard protocols. If you prefer, I can also bring UPS data together with server, backup and virtualization information on a single IT management screen. I define the integration points with you in an initial meeting.
